Uasin Gishu County leaders have urged those who lost in party primaries to support winners instead of vying as independent candidates. Led by governor Jackson Mandago, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and senator nominee Prof Margaret Kamar they said, this would ensure Jubilee party gets all seats."In Uasin Gishu County we will not support any independent candidates unless there was as crisis in the nomination exercise at their respective areas. There is always one winner," Sudi said at the county headquarters, Monday."The same people who voted you out in the nominations are the ones who will vote come August. This is just dividing our votes and we won't allow it," added Mandago. The three reiterated that they would bring all leaders together to ensure Jubilee gets 100 per cent votes from the region. "This is a Jubilee party stronghold and we will campaign tirelessly to ensure president Kenyatta and his deputy Ruto are reelected," notedKamar. They however, urged aspirants to conduct their campaigns peacefully and avoid using utterances that could divide Kenyans on tribal and political cocoons.[Kapseret MP (L) Oscar Sudi, Uasin Gishu County governor Jackson Mandago and Senator nominee Margaret Kamar at the county headquarters.
