Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago has supported the recent Ipsos synovate opinion poll ratings showing President Uhuru Kenyatta leading by 68 per cent.
He said, the polls reflects what people think on the ground.
"I support the opinion polls 100 per cent since our president is a working president and not a ceremonial one and I can a test to that," he said.
Speaking at the county headquarters on Thursday, Mandago said Kenyatta has done a lot in his four years era in office.
"In his tenure lives of Kenyans have been transformed, be it in infrastructure, education, creation of job opportunities among others," he said.
He added, for the first time IPSOS Synovate has produced a credible opinion poll that reflects the views of people from the ground.
"I urge Kenyans to support the Jubilee government for them to get a share of the National cake," he said.
This comes after the Ipsos synovate company released opinion polls showing President Uhuru Kenyatta is approved by 68 per cent of Kenyans.
