Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago has called upon IEBC to put its house in order ahead of October 26 presidential election. He said the current state was worrying, and something needs to be done. "I am calling upon IEBC to put things together because we want nothing else but a free and fair election on October 26," he said in Eldoret town, Thursday.Mandago bashed IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe who flew to the US and resigned. The Jubilee governor said Dr Akombe was a coward with ill motives. "Akombe's behavior has been wanting ever since. First, she was pushing for her former employer (UN) to print the ballot papers and we are reading malice in her move," noted Mandago."Again, she left for Dubai to inspect on the printing process, then she diverted to the US. Why couldn't she resign in Kenya," he added. He reiterated that if Akombe was a responsible mother, she could not have left the country tensed and flee."Why should you cause tension and leave other people's children vulnerable following a tension you started," he wondered.
