Political leaders in Uasin Gishu county have pledged to work together towards delivering promises they made to 'mwananchi' during the August 8 general elections campaigns. Governor Jackson Mandago in his new year message to locals further reaffirmed the leader's unity “for a better county.” Through a post on his official Facebook page on Sunday, the vocal Jubilee governor wished Uasin Gishu residents God's blessings, protection, and goodness in the new year. Below is the full message by governor Mandago. “We the leadership of Uasin Gishu County wishes you a happy and prosperous new year 2018, we are united for a better county. As we prepare to cross over to 2018, I thank God and pray that his blessings, protection, and goodness shall follow us throughout the year.
