Petitions in gubernatorial and senatorial contests in Mandera are set to be decided.
The petitioners contend that the 2017 August general election was marred by malpractice in Mandera County.
Hon Hassan Osman alias Hassan Cerial who was aspiring to be the next senator of Mandera County will be the first candidate case to be heard tomorrow with his opponent Mohamud Mumad.
"I believe I have won the seat Farely squarely and I also believe the judgement to be fare" cerial said
Economic Freedom Party on the other hand produced 5 elected members of the national assembly and 27 members of the county assembly that produced wide margin for the August election and the repeat November election of president Uhuru Kenyatta which on the other hand never got favoured by the share of the hot cake of executive and other big posts named by president Uhuru.
The senatorial case whose judgement is expected to be heard tomorrow will be lead by justice France Tuyoit followed by the Mandera north seat on Tuesday which will be heard by lady justice Hodwig Ongudi and finally the gubernatorial seat which is the head of the petition on Wednesday 28th February that determines the fate of the larger people of Mandera whose judgement will be delivered by justice Fred Ochieng
