Residents of Manga district, Nyamira County have urged Governor John Nyagarama to fulfill his pledges of initiating water projects and improving roads in the area.
According to the residents, Nyagarama promised to launch the projects, but nothing has been done so far.
Speaking during a public participation exercise at Manga stadium, they also called on the county government to rehabilitate feeder roads.
“Governor Nyagarama promised to supply us with water, rehabilitate feeder roads among other projects but to date, nothing has been done, we want our governor to respond ,” said Maiko Onchong’a, a resident.
Governor Nyagarama who graced the event said his administration has put measures in place to ensure everything is done before the nex year's elections and called on residents to be patient as he moves to work on the pledges.
