Police in Naivasha have launched investigations into an incident where a body of man was found dumped along the Moi South Road in Naivasha on Monday.
The body of the middle aged man was found early Monday morning by school children.
Confirming the incident, Naivasha Police boss Charles Kortok said investigations have been immediately launched.
“It is true that a body of a middle-aged man was found dumped along the South Lake Road on Monday, we are probing the matter,” he said.
The police boss added that no identification was found on the deceased and that he could have been murdered elsewhere before the body being dumped.
Kortok also said that body of the deceased had no visible injuries noting that investigators will have to establish the killers and their motive.
He urged members of the public to provide information that will help police arrest the killers. He also said that security in the area will be boosted on 24-hour basis.
The body of the deceased was taken to Naivasha district hospital.
