A middle-aged man's body was discovered in a bush on Sunday evening after an accident which occurred on Friday at Kwa Kimangu, Kamuthanga in Ngelani along Machakos-Kangundo road.
The accident left two dead on the spot and scores injured after the bus they were travelling in lost control and veered off the road and crashed.
According to Ngelani chief Raphael Kyalo, the body was discovered by children who were fetching firewood.
He said that the body was stuck in the middle of sisal plants and had already started decomposing.
"I received information that dead person had been found in a bush where an accident had occurred on Friday. I called police officers from Machakos who arrived immediately," said Kyalo.
The body was taken to Machakos level five hospital mortuary. Investigations on what exactly caused the accident are still on going.
