A Kisii based prophet has said that if action will not be taken against commercial sex workers flocking the town then most people will die of HIV/AIDS.
The prophet only identified as David claimed that adultery and prostitution was on the increase in the area especially at night.
"Kisii is a disaster in waiting and if people will not repent then HIV/AIDS will weep many of them. It is time leaders join hands to eliminate the menace," he said.
He asked locals to change their ways which he described as immoral before the return of Jesus Christ.
"It is time parents go down to their knees and pray for the matter. If they fail, God will not spare anyone going against his holy word," he said.
He said that the rate at which youths were being infected with sexually transmitted diseases is worrying and something should be done.
He challenged police officers patrolling at night in Kisii town to help in clearing young girls from the streets.
