Chief Justice David Maraga on Tuesday suffered a major blow in a bid to present a united front against intimidation by political class.
Maraga, who is the Chairman of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) had convened a meeting to plan and respond to the constant attacks against the Judiciary.
Key members of the JSC were notebly mising from the meeting and the following.
Out of its eleven members, only seven appeared at the meeting and the press conference.
Attorney General Prof Githu Muigai and the head of Public Service Commission (PSC) Prof Margaret Kobia are among those who failed to attend the Tuesday meeting.
