Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has proposed Chief Justice David Maraga for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Speaking during a campaign rally in Nyamira Tuesday, Kalonzo hailed the CJ saying that he has done what most Africans would shy away from and added that he deserves global recognition for the same.
According to Kalonzo,Maraga has proved to the world that Kenya is the country to watch with regards to democratic growth, something that should not go unrewarded.
''The Chief Justice has proven to the world that there are a few people who can fearlessly observe the rule of law and deserves the Nobel Peace prize for that,'' said the former Vice President.
Maraga on Friday presided over the nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election and ordered for a repeat.
Kalonzo also took the opportunity to drum up support for NASA presidential candidate in the upcoming presidential election Raila Odinga terming him as the best for the position.
He said that the nation needs change, something that only Odinga can offer.
''Let's all come together and back one of us who has what it takes to better the nation.It is our time to prove our love for the nation by voting Raila Odinga and the NASA government,'' he said.
