Chief Justice David Maraga officially inaugurated Nakuru Children's Court, January 10.

Flanked by various County government and Judiciary officials led by Registrar, Anne Amadi, Maraga said the four floored Court has a video link to enable Children testify without physical contact with the accused.

He noted the newly refurbished Children’s Court, at Nakuru Law Courts would help children access justice, and ensure criminals with tendency of abusing children are dealt with accordingly. 

They also inspected the upcoming Nakuru Law Courts complex that has ten courtrooms. 

"Its construction will be completed in August, 2017,'' he said.

He inspected the upcoming Molo Law Courts building, set to be completed in February 2017.

Maraga further had a group photo with Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Nakuru branch officials, after holding a consultative meeting with the branch membership.

He later met Nakuru governor Kinuthia Mbugua when he paid him a courtesy call.
