[Photo|VashMedia]Chief Justice and Supreme Court President, David Maraga, has for the first time, appeared in a public event, since the September 1, nullification of the August 8 presidential election.Maraga is attending the October 20, nationwide annual Mashujaa Day celebrations, which is currently ongoing at the historic Uhuru Park grounds, in Nairobi.Maraga's deputy, Justice Philemona Mwilu, is also in attendance, making first appearance, in a public event, since the nullification, which saw President Uhuru Kenyatta, attack them, accusing them of being compromised by the Opposition's NASA.Maraga and Mwilu, snubbed opening of both National and Senate Assemblies, by President Kenyatta, last month, which would make their first appearance in a public event.At the event, Maraga sits besides Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka, while Mwilu sits behind them, besides Principal Secretary Monicah Juma.
