According to kbctv.co.ke, majority of county residents have for years been travelling to Laikipia and Nakuru counties in search of justice.

But Maraga has now promised to ensure the construction of the Sh350 million ultra-modern court which begins in January is hastened.

The court will sit on a three-acre plot donated by the county government.

The CJ further noted that plans are on by the Judiciary to post staff at the courts to ensure residents receive quality service.

Nyandarua Governor Daniel Waithaka and county speaker Ndegwa Wahome who accompanied Maraga urged him to post a lands and magistrate court in the area.

The High Court’s construction will bring to two the number of courts in the county after another one was put up in Engineer town last year.
