The president of the Kenyan judiciary has sent out his condolences to the family of Dr. Wahome Gakuru who was involved in a fatal road accident.

Justice Maraga extolled the academic credentials of the Nyeri Governor, calling him '' A distinguished academician who had great passion for development and who worked in various capacities...'' He said in a tweet.

''The people of Nyeri had great hope in his leadership. having won the gubernatorial seat three months ago. May the Almighty grant the governor's young family the courage and fortitude to bear this loss.'' The tweet continued.
