First Lady Margaret Kenyatta has urged Kenyans to rally behind President Uhuru Kenyatta during next month's election.
By handing Uhuru a second term, Margaret said Kenyans will be assured of continued transformation because the President is committed to their progress.
"I have come to appeal to you that you vote for Uhuru Kenyatta on August 8 poll, so that he can finish his work and deliver the promises he made to you,” she said on Tuesday.
The First Lady was speaking during a meeting with Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Organisation (MYWO) at the Kenya School of Government, Matuga Campus grounds, Kwale County.
Citing the success of the Women Enterprise Fund, Kenyatta called on the MYWO members to back the Jubilee Party presidential candidate, whom she said has the agenda for women at heart.
“Let us work together to transform Kenya. Let us pledge as women to vote for progress. That progress will only be realised if we give the President another chance to serve us," she added.
