An autopsy into the remains of former nominated MP Mark Too revealed that he died of a heart problem.
The chairman of Too's Funeral Organising Committee Jacob Yego said a postmortem report was issued by government Chief pathologist Johansen Oduor, dismissing allegations of possible assassination by political rivals.
According to Yego, one of Too's heart vein failed, resulting to death.
"Too had an aneurysm which is caused by the rapture of a blood vein between the heart and the brain,'' he said, Tuesday.
It was reported that the veteran politician and a close alley to former President Daniel Arap Moi complained of stomach ache before seeking medication at St Lukes Hospital in Eldoret, where he passed on.
However claims by Eldoret-based lawyer Simon Lilan emerged that he was assassinated after Too declared support for a Kapseret Constituency aspirant in Uasin Gishu County, a seat being occupied by incumbent Oscar Sudi.
