Mr Ng’ang’a said the county has not marketed itself well to the local and foreign investors noting that the government must engage investors and other stakeholders for proper development to be realised.

“Kiambu government must put in place strategies that will encourage local and foreign investors to invest in the county,” he said.

The chairman noted that issues of unemployment and high poverty levels will be addressed if both local and foreign investors are given an opportunity to pump money in the county.

Ng’ang’a further called on the county government to use the resources it has to better the living standards in the area.

He observed that service delivery will improve if the government allocates more funding to important projects observing that residents have no access to services despite the county being among those with huge budgets.

Nga’ng’a at the same time appealed to area leaders to embrace unity saying that development will never be realised in a society that is divided.

He urged the leaders to commit their time to serving the people in order to promote socio-economic development.
