Education Cs Fred Matiang’i has said that the marking of this year's KCSE exams will be done fast to enable parents plan well for their children who will qualify to join higher learning institutions without any delay.
Speaking at Nyabururu Girl's National school in Kisii county on Saturday, Matiang'i said the ongoing exams has been credible and assured that results will be good.
“I am assuring parents and candidates that the marking process will be hastened and results will be out earlier than before”, Matiang’i said.
Matiang’i, commended police officers for supporting the government in ferrying exams to areas prone to floods.
He said Jubilee government has invested much in the education sector for the better of future generations.
He challenged Kenyans to maintain peace during the long Christmas holidays.“I call on leaders and citizens to preach peace. The government won't allow people to threaten the peace,'' Matiang’i said.
