Married couples in Kisii Central Sub County have been warned against having multiple sexual partners outside their marriages, a reason that has reportedly led high HIV and Aids preference in the region.
According to Antony Kiganda, existing statistics shows that the condition has been rampant among married couples.
“Married couples should try to be faithful to one partner to curb high spread of HIV and Aids in the region. Statistics shows that the disease is rampant among married couples," he said.
He also challenged area residents to visit nearest facilities to check their status as a measure towards creating awareness in the society.
" We have several health centres around and it is appropriate that people go for test. That is the only way we can be able to know our status to curb further spread of the disease," he added.
