[Photo|Martha Karua]Former Gichugu MP Martha Karua has rejected any possible plans to be appointed as a Cabinet Secretary.The Narc Kenya party leader lost her Kirinyaga gubernatorial bid to Jubilee Party's Anne Waiguru on August 8 general election.President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto are faced with a huge task to appoint members of Jubilee government's cabinet following their inauguration on Tuesday.Pundits say the two may look for political rejects who lost in the August elections, that remained loyal to them or joined them and campaigned for their re-election.During campaigns in Kirinyaga, Uhuru gave Waiguru and Karua to the people, saying they should elect whoever they want and that whoever loses would be rewarded in a different way.Karua has however said she is not interested in being a Cabinet Secretary especially at the national level."My focus now is in the county level and I said this before. I wouldn't want to work in the cabinet," Karua said during an interview with a local TV station.She however clarified that she had not been told she would be appointed to the cabinet.
