Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua has sent a message to President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Interior and Coordination Ministry, following the deportation of Miguna Miguna.

The self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) General was deported from Kenya to Canada on Tuesday night after being arraigned at the Kajiado Law Court over the controversial swearing-in of NASA leader Raila Odinga on January 30. He had been arrested on Friday 2.

According to his lawyer John Khaminwa, Miguna was placed into a KLM flight departing from Nairobi for Amsterdam minutes to 10 pm.

Karua who unsuccessfully vied for the presidency in 2013 and Kirinyaga governorship race in 2017, tagged President Kenyatta and Interior Ministry in a tweet terming the deportation of Miguna as "the height of impunity."

"Forcefully taking @Dr_migunamiguna to Canada in defiance of a court order to either release him or produce him is the height of impunity @PresidentKE @InteriorKE @UKenyatta," Karua said on Wednesday morning.
