Team Kenya participants in the Mombasa Open Tongil Moo Do International Martial Arts championship are on course of retaining the overall title the fifth edition of the event this year.

Team Kenya took most of the accolades in both senior and junior compatition that attracted players from Africa and Asia.

In the girls under 14 individual category, Kenya's Amina Ismail led other two Kenyans to take the best three medals after garnering 6.92 points to take home the gold. 

Her compartiots Nina Mpakwanik and Mwanatum Ismael came second and third with 6.0 and 5.95 points respectively.

In boys category, Kenya still shone with Joseph Nassor winning gold with 6.92 points as Alamin Ismail too home the silver medal with 6.0 points.

Kenya was later to sweep all the medals in the boys 15-17 years category as Samson Wambu, Joseph Mwanyika and Abdullah Ismael followed each other with 7.36, 6.48 and 6.30 points respectively.
