The Coast regional coordinator Nelson Marwa has bashed the Opposition leaders who are calling for “fresh election” in 90 days from October 26 saying “the game is over”.The Coast regional coordinator who is eying a Principal Secretary post said next elections will be conducted in 2022.Marwa was among the 120 out of 4,000 people shortlisted for PS post.NASA boycotted the October poll in which President Uhuru Kenyatta won by 98 percent claiming it was a charade and predetermined.Marwa who has ruffled feathers of the opposition leaders said Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto are legit leaders.NASA has said the fact that there was a 38 percent voter turnout, Jubilee presidency is illegitimate.“They (NASA) should be told this country needs to move forward,” Marwa said at Uhuru Na Kazi Building, Mombasa during a media briefing. The “move forward” slogan mostly advanced by envoys and election observers after the August 8 poll irritated NASA. The coalition claimed it was part of a wider scheme to validate a fraud election in which IEBC and Jubilee played crucial roles to “subvert” the will of the people.“We are calling upon Kenyans and residents of this region to go back to their normal business," Marwa said. His statements came a day after the opposition stepped up its Peoples Assembly campaign by naming a seven-member committee to guide its implementation.Economist David Ndii will chair the team and will be responsible for coordinating programmes of all county assemblies that have passed the secession motion. Other members are Judith Sijeny, Oduor Ong'wen, Mutakha Kangu, Peter Muthuki, Hamida Kibwana and Koitamet ole Kina.
