Coast regional coordinator Nelson Marwa on Tuesday named five politicians among them two MPs whom he says are under police watch over hooliganism and their sources of campaign funds.He singled out Jomvu MP Badi Twalib whom he accused of sponsoring youth to cause chaos in the constituency during ODM nominations, The Star has reported.“How can a whole MP walk around with rowdy youth armed with machetes and clubs causing chaos?” Marwa told journalists in his office.However, Badi’s personal assistant Moffat Mutero has denied the claims saying the MP is not a hooligan.The regional coordinator also named Nyali ODM aspirant Said ‘Saido’ Abdalla, his Jubilee Party rival, Ashraf Bayusuf and Taita Taveta MP hopeful Mike Banton saying their source of campaign funds is questionable.He added that police are closely monitoring the trio.Also on the police watch is a ward representative.However, Saido has denied Marwa's claims saying his money is clean, while Banton was unavailable for comment, the daily added.
