Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa has asked Kenyans to stop speculating on the possible appointees to President Uhuru Kenyatta's new cabinet.Marwa asked Kenyans to give the current Cabinet Secretaries (CSs) and their Principal Secretaries (PSs) time to discharge their duties, saying that speculations on who is likely to retain or not retain their positions are causing unnecessary jitters.Speaking to journalists in Mombasa on Monday, Marwa said it is only the president who can announce the Cabinet nominees.Marwa said while it is not wrong to speculate, Kenyans should devote their time to nation building and service delivery in the respective areas they work in.Responding to claims that he could make it to Uhuru's Cabinet, Marwa said he is ready for any task ahead of him.The regional coordinator said he has a passion and commitment to serve Kenyans."I am always ready for any task so long as it is for the interest of Kenyans and our country," he said.There have been speculations that Marwa could be appointed a PS in Uhuru’s new cabinet.Marwa who is known for his no-nonsense attitude has on several occasions engaged in confrontations with top opposition leaders among them Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.
