Maseno School has expelled two gay students found engaging in sex within the school compound.
The two were discovered by fellow students having sex in one of the dormitory lavatories and were beaten up before the mob forwarded the case to the school principal.
The principal then sent the two packing, an action that has triggered angry reactions from a number of gays in the area saying that it was not proper to send them home.
The school principal however said that it ought to be known that there was no room for such people and such acts in the institution, warning that if anyone was caught, they would be sent packing for good.
A section of gays have however come up in protest claiming that all the two needed was a proper session of constructive counseling and that would have solved the issue instead of expulsion.
They further demanded that the group of students that beat up the 'not-straight' couple be taken as rogues and not as heroes thus legal action be taken against them.
