Education CS Fred Matiang'i has said that his ministry is liaising with concerned agencies to investigate the alleged cases of sodomy in Maseno School.

Speaking to varsity chiefs in Naivasha on Monday, the CS said that the behaviour was totally unacceptable and that it should not be allowed to build and spill over to other institutions of learning.

"I will demand investigation at Maseno over claims of rape and fighting among students in halls. We cannot condone some of the carelessness we see in our universities," he said.

Maseno Schools former principal Paul Otula got interdicted on March following the allegations that students were practising sodomy to the extent of rape cases emerging.

A 16-year-old student was reported to have been sodomised by senior students at the school.
