George’s body was taken from Russia Mortuary in Kisumu on Monday by Maseno University fraternity and transported to Nakuru for body viewing.
It was a sad moment for family, friends, and relatives during burial ceremony of George who was in his final year pursuing bachelors in Art and Design at Maseno.
SOMU Secretary-General, Linus Sang termed George as a strong and ambitious friend and at one point told Sang how he admired SOMU secretary-general post.
Dr. Mary Aswan described George as an irreplaceable student who was focused in his studies and condemned the careless driver who cut short the career and dreams of a young man like George.
“To cut short the dreams of a promising young man like George in the name of careless driving is very unfortunate. George, you will always stay in our hearts. I am sure that God will still fulfill the good plans you had for your parents. May you rest in peace,” said Dr. Mary, a lecturer at Maseno University.
