A number of Maseno University students were suspended for allegedly engaging in exam irregularities.
A total of 53 students received suspension notices, according to a notice the institutions' Office of the Registrar Academic and Students Affairs.
Most of the suspended students were suspended for one academic year while others for a period of two years.
The institution commenced exams on Monday 28, November, to mark the end of first semester in the 2015-2016 academic year.
Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics and Student Affairs, Prof Mary J Kipsat said they had employed stringent measures to help curb cheating in exams.
