According to the students the fire affected them and they have every right to know what transpired during the incident that led to the lose of crucial records.

Speaking to this writer on Tuesday, the students said since the fire nobody has come forward to inform them what occurred on the fateful day.

"All we know is that there was a fire, but we don't know what caused the fire and what extent was the damage. We are calling on the institution to come out and tell us what happened rather than keeping quite for us to forget," said Maurice Okome.

"The school fees we pay will be used to repair the building, at least let us know what happened. The institution promised quick investigations but to date there is nothing new," said Paul Okumu.

Some of the students said that it was amusing that the institution claimed that the incident was an arson attack yet nobody has been charged up to date.

"If we don't get any information, then we will continue speculating about the cause of the fire and that is not good for the progression of the institution in any way," said Shirlyn Kenga a student.
