Maseno University is set to resume academic operations on November 7, the Institution's Senate has announced.
This is according to information posted on the institutions' official website by the Office of the Registrar, Academics and Students Affairs.
The decision was arrived at following a Senate meeting held on November 3, at Siriba campus.
The institution has been on an indefinite closure since Tuesday November 1, following students unrest.
According to the information on the website, all first-year students are required to report back on Sunday while continuing students will report Monday 7th.
Lectures will commence on Monday at 7am.
The students are however expected to meet specific conditions before being allowed back to the institution.
On return, all students will be required to pay Sh2,000 to cater for the loses incurred during the unrest.
They will also be required to get evidence of clearance from the institution indicating clearance of school fees as well as sign a commitment form of good conduct which is available online at www.maseno.ac.ke
The learners will also be mandated to sign the Nominal Roll available at the office of the Registrar Academics and Student Affairs.
The unrest came one year after another that happened on October 13.
