Masii Ward residents in Mwala sub-county have asked county government of Machakos to relocate dumping site.
The dumping site is located close to residential houses situation which exposes the residents to diseases.
According to residents, the site was set in late 2015.
They said that the county government is just mistreating them as some of them are forced to walk through the dumping site to get home.
"I am not impressed by what the county government did by setting the dumping site location amidst residential houses.
It does not make any sense and therefore I call upon the county government to relocate the site away from town," said Munyao Muli.
Kamene another resident expressed her anger saying that the county government of Machakos has neglected them and is taking advantage of their silence.
They all gave the county government an ultimatum of 14 days to relocate the dumping site and vowed to hold peaceful demonstrations to county government offices in Machakos town.
