The two students were arrested by police last Saturday for allegedly planning to carryout arson within the school.

Unhappy about their colleagues’ arrest and prosecution, hundreds of students stormed out of their classrooms to express solidarity with their colleagues, paralyzing learning in the entire school.

They claimed their colleagues were innocent and that they had been ‘unfairly targeted’ by the administration.

But a swift action by the school administration to hold dialogue with irate students bore fruits after the students agreed to go home without causing damage to school property.

Confirming the incident, Mwala OCPD Henry Kimathi said police have compelling evidence linking the two students to the offense.
