Masinde Muliro University has offered an explanation as to why it did not offer Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) boss an honorary degree as had been scheduled. The University has said it did not do so after receiving advice its council.This was confirmed by the institution's vice-chancellor Fredrick Otieno.The COTU boss was scheduled to receive the honour today.Sossion had accused the university of taking orders from Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i.CS Matiang'i has not yet responded to the accusations leveled at himself.
