AFC Leopards' tactician Robert Matano was left fuming at his players after they went down 0 -1 to Gor Mahia during the Super Cup clash at the Afraha Stadium, Nakuru county on Sunday.Ingwe found themselves trailing a few minutes before the half-time break thanks to a powerful header by Gor Mahia captain Haron Shakava that left goalkeeper Gabriel Andika rooted to the spot.In his post-match address, a visibly irritated Matano said his charges lost concentration and deservedly paid the price of not being keen enough. The veteran tactician also blamed his players for failing to train ahead of the crunch 'Mashemeji Derby'."We lost concentration well before the match. We have not trained for two days. We had some great momentum but lost that after we failed to train for two days. The players must take responsibility for the loss because they refused to train for two days. You cannot play a team like Gor Mahia when you are not mentally and physically prepared," Matano said.Leopards had hinted at pulling out of the Kenya Premier League's (KPL) season curtain-raiser over funding issues only to rescind the decision, barely a day to kickoff.
