Photo/goal.comAFC Leopards tactician Robert Matano has decried lack of experience at the national soccer team Harambee Stars technical bench saying such is the cause of the team's dismal performance in its international games. In an interview with on Tuesday, the no-nonsense coach blasted Federation of Kenya Football (FKF) for hiring a totally inexperienced technical bench and failing to consult widely among senior most coaches including himself, former Bandari coach Twahhir Muhiddin, Mathare Fc coach Francis Kimanzi or former Tusker tactician Jacob Mulee."Experience is one commodity that human beings cannot buy. It is something that you acquire with time. The problem with these leaders we've had is that coaching positions are always dished out to those who do not deserve. They also hate to consult and have completely isolated people who can help.Twahhir Muhhidin ,Jacob Mulee, Francis Kimanzi and I have been in this industry for a very long time even in the national setup yet the federation never consults anyone even when it's apparent that the team needs help," he said. The Stanley Okumbi-led charges have endured torrid moments losing two of their latest friendly matches against lowly Iraq and Thailand teams to sink deeper in the Fifa rankings.Matano however maintains that Kenyans should not expect any miracles from Stars as long as the federation will continue to run things as they have always done.
