AFC Leopards have crossed the Kenyan border in search of fresh talent ahead of the 2018 Kenya Premier League season.

Head Coach Robert Matano missed Saturday's season finale against Muhoroni Youth as he was away in Uganda to watch three targets during a league match between Soana FC and KCCA.

"The coach is in Uganda to watch three players we are keen on signing, two are from Soana and one is from KCCA. I cannot give their identities at the moment because we've not even started negotiations but we thought it's important for the coach to watch them before we make any move," AFC Club chairman Dan Mule told Futaa.com.

Mule said the club will work around the clock to wrap up all their deals in time so that the team can gel well before the new season.

"We've identified players we need to sign and we want the transfers completed early so that the coach begins preparations early with all the players he will work with in 2018," he said.

Ingwe finished 8th in the log with 45 points. They also won the Gotv Shield cup.
