A matatu conductor has been shot dead by police in Ruai area. 

According to eye witnesses, chaos erupted when police arrived at the bus stop along Kangundo road where the conductor was working and started shooting in the air then shot the conductor in the head killing him instantly.  

The witnesses further noted that the police connected the killing of the conductor to an  harassment of passengers that happened yesterday where  the conductor was involved.
