Mr Langi Muthiani, the chair of KAM Sacco which plies Nairobi-Kangundo road, on Wednesday told drivers and conductors to be extra careful to minimize road accidents.

Muthiani warned drivers and conductors against getting lured by the sudden boom of business that comes with the festive.

"Many of you are faced with greed to maximize profits hence end up overloading, speeding and overcharging passengers,” Muthiani said.

He added: “Others use drugs to enable them to work long hours not considering that you are fumbling with lives.”

He also urged passengers to ensure that they honour traffic rules set for passengers.

“Passengers should not break rules set for them. They should also report any cases involving drivers,” he said.
