[Photo/nation.co.ke]The Matatu Owners Association has issued a raft of recommendations that it hopes will help reduce the carnage on roads.The following are some of the recommendations:SACCOs employ inspectors along roads to monitor the movement of vehicles.SACCOs have their own garages for vehicles doing more than 200 kilometres.Passengers call out rogue drivers.Police officers taking bribes from drivers to be dealt with the full force of the law.Restaurants be built at Sachangwan for drivers so that they can have a place to rest before continuing their journey.The raft of recommendations was read out today at Nairobi by the Matatu Owners Association Chairman Simon Kimutai.
