Mathare United and Muhoroni Youth have been found guilty in different cases filed at the Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT).
The Slum Boys were ordered to pay their former player Thomas Wanyama some Sh287 000 for a wrong dismissal.
Muhoroni, on the other hand, will part with Sh2, 015, 000 to three of its former players for committing the same breach.
Victor Omune, Kevin Otieno and Andrew Sekayombya will be paid within the next seven days, with Sekayombya carrying home the biggest share of Sh815, 000.
Although the Sh287 000fine on Mathare will be cushioned by the team's good sponsorship, things might not be the same for Muhoroni who have grappled with lean finances in the last season.
This is the second time the millers are coming to the limelight this year after staging a fierce battle against Football Kenya Federation (FKF) who had relegated them 'unfairly'.
