Mathare United's quest for survival in the Kenya Premier League (KPL) has been dealt a huge blow after suspension of their first choice keeper Levis Opiyo.

Opiyo will miss bothe the remaining matches of the season.

This is after he received his fifth yellow of the season when they faced Nzoia Sugar.

Opiyo was also sent off earlier in the season in their match against SoNy Sugar.

The relegation-threatened Slum Boys will therefore have to face Muhoroni Youth and Posta Rangers without him.

Their second-choice keeper Wycliffe Kasaya is also out with injury and coach Francis Kimanzi will now have to gamble with their third-choice keepers Mark Kioko for the decisive games.
