Mathuki was speaking during the 31st Matuu primary school anniversary at Matuu memorial school Saturday where he was the chief guest.

Mathuki also urged Matuu residents to remain united ahead of the 2017 general elections.

There has been visible division between Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Machakos senator Johnston Muthama with Kalonzo accusing Muthama of betrayal and conspiring with Cord co-chair to deny him the presidential ticket.
