[Photo/Salim Mvurya]Ag Education Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i made his first stop in Kwale County during his Coastal region education tour on Wednesday.Matiang'i who is the Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary, was scheduled to tour Coastal counties following concerns of low Form One admission in the region since the exercise kicked off on January 9.Matiang'i met several coast region leaders and education stakeholders from the region during a meeting chaired by Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya.On matters education, Mvurya said he would always stand steadfast to ensure the county has the best and join other leaders with the same zeal to transform not only Kwale County but the whole coastal region.The meeting was the first regional stakeholder’s meeting and participants used the opportunity to discuss the challenges and possible solutions in the education sector ranging from performance to transition from primary school to Form One.
