Acting Interior Cs Fred Matiang'i has urged politicians and Kenyans to embrace brotherhood, peace ahead of the Supreme Court ruling on a petition challenging the re-election of president Uhuru Kenyatta.

Matiang’i said in case of disagreements in society there are better ways to solve such disagreements to avoid loss of lives and property.

"We should be in peace as we wait for the judgment from the Supreme Court on Monday. I call on political leaders and their supporters to preach peace and not dividing the country", he said.

He challenged  NASA leaders to accept the decision of the Supreme Court saying that president Kenyatta is ready to respect it.

“Our country is big than any individual, we should not destroy it since it took us many years to build it,'' he said.
