Education CS Fred Matiang’i has affirmed that the minstry has put in place strict measures to curb curb cheating in this year’s national exams.
He said the ministry will protect the integrity of the exams and cheating will be “a thing of the past”.
“My ministry has put in place elaborate measures towards the administration of this year’s KCPE and KCSE exams,” he said. Matiang’i spoke at Kisii Cathedral Church over the weekend.
He urged teachers to concentrate on delivering on the curriculum.
Matiang'i is currently serving as the acting Interior Cabinet Secretary.
