Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i is yet again battling a vicious war, this time launched by his close confidants back at home.
Early this year, a section of MPs allied to Jubilee from Nyamira, labelled to outspoken CS a 'tenant', insisting that he is an outsider from the region.
And on Wednesday, Matiang'i rural MP Ben Momanyi, accused him of subverting justice by subjecting embattled lawyer Miguna Miguna to 'harsh' conditions.
"He is my friend by I strongly condemn the manner in which he is running the ministry. It lacks professionalism and respect to the law," he said.
The Wiper MP added: "It is even embarrassing that I am representing him in parliament. He should change his tactics for the better."
Despite being ordered to appear in court with lawyer Miguna, who is reportedly languishing in a toilet at Jomo Kenyatta airport, Matiang'i defied the court order.
The controversial lawyer is being held on claims that he is not a Kenyan citizen, a defense that was dismantled by the High Court.
