Nyamira governor John Nyagarama has yet again dismissed criticism by Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i targeting his administration.
For months now, Matiang'i, who has been holding fund drives across the region, has often questioned development record of the ODM government.
But in Nyamira on Sunday, Nyagarama dismissed claims that his government had failed to actualise devolution as enshrined in the constitution.
"Those who are busy moving around should concentrate in improving our security. It is pointless to criticise us yet you have not taken time to see what we have done.
"As leaders, we should support each other instead of dwelling on negative energy. I will not have time for such people at all," he said without directly evoking Matiang'i's name.
The ODM governor has been facing criticism from Jubilee allied leaders who accuse him of sluggishness in development.
Although it is unclear whether Matiang'i is planning to run for gubernatorial seat, his beehive activities in the county has left leaders guessing.
