Justice George Odunga's ruling may have after all sealed Matiang'i's reputation albeit in his future career prospects since he remains a convict unless he appeals the decision.

"It is sad that he is ruining his reputation on mediocre issues. I expected him to stand guided in the law," said Gideon Mamboleo.
